Remote Desktop is only available on Windows XP Professional (not Home Edition). With remote desktop you can access a host computer no matter where you are. This means that you can connect to your work computer from home or vice-versa and have access to all of your applications, files, and network resources as though you were sitting in front of the host computer.

Users of earlier versions of Windows, may be familiar with Microsoft NetMetting. But where is it on Windows XP? NetMeeting is still included in XP but the idiots at Microsoft didn't place a shortcut in the start menu. Don't worry though NetMeeting is still included with Window XP.
